Colossus is a historic wooden roller coaster, an important marvel of scientific and structural engineering, and a very important piece of Magic Mountain's history. Colossus was the last coaster built by International Amusement Devices (IAD). It was one of the tallest, fasted, and longest wooden roller coasters in the world when it opened. It is one of the most filmed roller coasters in movies and TV shows including the 1983 comedy National Lampoon's Vacation. It is a perfect family friendly coaster. It shouldn't be closed down.
