Whistlestop Park is a Six Flags area that needs remodeling; with only two areas left in both Six Flags America and Six Flags Magic Mountain. Six Flags New England removed the Flying Aces ride in 2016 leaving New England Express to be the only ride to be at Whistlestop Park and in 2019 removing the Whistlestop Park name to make a Six Flags Member Plaza however New England Express still operated. Six Flags Over Georgia removed Whistlestop Train before the 2012 season and in fall of 2015 removed the last ride called Whistlestop Park Playground and moved it to the Looney Tunes kids area where it was given a new name. 4 years later after the last ride was removed, Six Flags Over Georgia rethemed the area as Screampunk District and added a new ride called Pandemonium. Before all of this, Thomas Town used to be there. With different attractions at each park. This is a petition to try to get Six Flags to get the license back and open at all 3 parks (Over Georgia replaced their Whistlestop Park with Screampunk District, and Discovery Kingdom replaced their Thomas Town with Seaside Junction) and to replace the dying Whistlestop Park area. Since Thomas events are still going on and that Thomas is still popular, it would be a great opportunity to bring back popularity to the area.
