St Lucia Barracks, Omagh which is steeped in Military history since 1888 has fallen into disrepair to a worrying extent. A symbol of Miliary history which can be identified by many soldiers and their families for decades. Not only does this impact on service and civilians families who hold St Lucia very close to there heart but surely the heritage of this barracks runs parallel to Enniskillen Castle. This history once gone will never be brought about again and if something is not done soon then St Lucia falls into what can only be described as a "derilect site" and that shame falls on us.
