GET DAISY BACK

GET DAISY BACK

Our family dog, Daisy Mae, is 6 years old and was deemed high risk in the summer of 2017 because a mail woman had been frightened by daisy’s barking while daisy had been running. She only had been barking because people in uniforms intimidate her. Daisy did not touch the lady at all and this one incident led to Daisy being taken and deemed as high risk.
Daisy is a sweet and caring dog who loves being around people and lives with a toddler, four children, and 3 other animals. She has never bitten anyone, loves to sleep, and loves to run because of her breed. Daisy recently ran on March 5th 2020 and animal control had been called by a neighbor who had seen Daisy running. Daisy was then taken and we were later told it had been her third offense and because of that we would either have to hand her over or relocate her out of the city of Sioux City. Daisy now has until March 12th to get as many signatures as she can so we can fight to get her back. She is one of the most sweetest dogs you could ever know and wouldn’t hurt a fly let alone a human. We are the only family Daisy has known since she was a puppy. If you see this petition please sign it so Daisy can have a chance to come home to her family and stay in Sioux City!!!!
