Most of the courses offered by the universities offer recording of lectures for students' own additional revision and reference.

These recorded lectures often do not offer captions, making it inaccessible for students with hearing difficulties as well as for students who may be having difficulties with understanding the foreign accents of some of the professors conducting the lectures.

Captions should be provided for all recorded lectures provided by the universities. This will not only provide more accessibility for the students with hearing difficulties but also enhance the learning of students in general.
