The eco farm has been around since 1999. It practises sustainable farming method which is very rare in Singapore. It offers group educational tours which inculcate awareness of environmental protection to the general public and schools. 

There are volunteers who come to the farm regularly to help out as the farm does not have enough manpower to work on its land of 20,000 square metres. 

The farm does not use insecticides and pesticides to kill the pests. Instead they use farming method which uses rotation farming and mixed crops farming. They do composting so that the vegetables at the farm get organic nutrients from the compost.

The farm has regular customers who order vegetables from the farm. The farm has more than thirty different varieties of vegetables such as sweet potatoes, brinjal, chilli, pumpkin, Brazilian spinach, lady fingers, etc.

The owner of the farm, Mrs Evelyn Eng-Lim is very passionate of environmental protection. She was with Nature Society as a volunteer for fifteen years before embarking on the farm project. She has put in lots of efforts to the farm. She collects rainwater to irrigate the farm. She collects used Chinese herbs for her composting.

The lease of the farm expires in July 2022. It is a pity if the land is acquired back to the authority. Singapore will have missed one more good spot for organic farming.
