Approve the conversion of the defunct railway between Alba and Canelli to a bicycle path for everybody to enjoy.

Approve the conversion of the defunct railway between Alba and Canelli to a bicycle path for everybody to enjoy.
The issue
Imagine being able to explore your way through the rolling hills of Barbaresco, amongst white truffle filled forests, beautiful vineyards and famous wineries with a designated bike track.
We need you to show support for the installation of a bicycle track running through the UNESCO World Heritage listed wine landscapes of Langhe-Roero and Nizza Monferrato.
Running for 28km on what is now a defunct railway track, the bike path will be made from environmentally friendly recycled rubber matting in order to preserve the existing infrastructure and minimize costs. It will pass through many historic wine producing towns, beginning with Alba in the Langhe and then passing through Barbaresco, Neive, Castagnole Lanze, Costigliole d'Asti, Calosso, Santo Stefano Belbo and ending in Canelli.
It’s the perfect way to explore the area and support green tourism!
Don’t let this get moth-balled by Italian bureaucracy!
