Llamamiento por la libertad de todos los presos políticos de la revuelta, de los comuneros mapuche y de Mauricio Hernández Norambuena, que aún permanecen encarcelados en Chile

Súmense a esta campaña, adheriendo a esta carta:

Nosotros, representados por organizaciones o a título personal, le solicitamos que haga uso de sus atribuciones como presidente, para otorgarle el indulto a todos los presos políticos que aún permanecen en las cárceles del país.

Sabemos que ambas cámaras del Congreso, al igual que el Poder Judicial, han puesto freno a gran parte de los proyectos transformadores incluídos en su programa de gobierno. Por lo mismo, consideramos que el indulto a los presos políticos sería un gran gesto de su parte, en el último período de su gestión.

Solicitamos la libertad de los presos políticos de la revuelta, los jóvenes que se manifestaron por un Chile más justo, y que como producto de la manipulación judicial tan cuestionada en estos momentos aún siguen encarcelados.

Recientemente, en sesión del Consejo de Derechos Humanos de la Organización de Naciones Unidas, se presentó una denuncia contra el Estado de Chile por violación de los derechos del Pueblo originario Mapuche. Por ello solicitamos la libertad de los comuneros mapuche encarcelados y con procesos penales abiertos por defender la vida, su cosmovisión y el territorio. 

Finalmente, solicitamos la libertad de Mauricio Hernández Norambuena, prisionero histórico, representante de la lucha antidictatorial.

Vi, representanter för organisationer eller enskilda personer, ber dig att använda dina befogenheter som president för att bevilja benådning till alla politiska fångar som fortfarande sitter i landets fängelser.

Vi vet att Kongressens bägge kammare och rättsväsendet, har bromsat införandet av de flesta förändringar som finns med i ditt regeringsprogram. Av denna anledning tror vi att benådningen av de politiska fångarna skulle vara en stor gest innan ditt ämbete tar slut.

Vi begär att revoltens politiska fångar friges, de ungdomar som demonstrerade för ett mer rättvist Chile och som, till följd av den ifrågasatta rättsliga manipulationen, fortfarande är i fängelse.

Vid ett möte i FN:s råd för mänskliga rättigheter, lämnades nyligen in ett klagomål mot den chilenska staten för kränking av rättigheterna för urbefolkningen mapuche. Därför begär vi att de Mapuche-ledare som är fängslade och har pågående åtal friges. De försvarar livet, sin världsbild och sina marker.

Slutligen begär vi att Mauricio Hernández Norambuena, en fånge som representerar kampen mot diktaturen, också friges.

Call for the freedom of all political prisoners of the uprising, the Mapuche community members, and Mauricio Hernández Norambuena, who remain imprisoned in Chile. Join this campaign by endorsing this letter:

Mr. Gabriel Boric Font, President of the Republic of Chile

We, representatives of organizations or individual persons, ask you to use your powers as president to grant a pardon to all political prisoners who are still being held in the country's prisons.

We are aware that both chambers of Congress, as well as the Judiciary, have obstructed a significant portion of the transformative projects included in your government program. For this reason, we believe that granting a pardon to the political prisoners would be a powerful gesture on your part during the final period of your term.

We call for the release of the political prisoners of the uprising — the young people who protested for a more just Chile and who, due to judicial manipulation that is currently under serious scrutiny, are still behind bars.

Recently, a complaint was submitted during a session of the United Nations Human Rights Council against the Chilean State for violations of the rights of the Indigenous Mapuche People. Therefore, we also call for the release of the imprisoned Mapuche community members and those facing criminal charges for defending life, their worldview, and their territories.

Finally, we request the release of Mauricio Hernández Norambuena, a historical prisoner and representative of the anti-dictatorship struggle.
