Stop the Euthanization of Yellow Stone Grizzly Bears!!

The Issue

Yellowstone National Park has "Bear Safety" page on their website, http://www.nps.gov/yell/planyourvisit/bearsafety.htm. On Friday, a hiker was killed by a Grizzly Bear. There were footsteps of not only a Grizzly Bear but also of bear cubs.  As we all know, anyone that comes between a Grizzly Bear and their cubs or any animal and their baby are subject to dealing with protective parents.   The Grizzly Bear and babies were in their natural habitat, while we are invading their territory.  We need to be aware of this and take better precautions when entering into the wild.

Two-Grizzlies have been caught and their DNA is being tested to see if they were involved in the attack.  If they are found to be involved, they will then be euthanized.  The same fate will follow the cubs, if they are not taken by a zoo or organization.  The lives of animals, protecting their babies and living in their natural homes, will now be unnecessarily ended.  This must stop.

We have a responsibility to protect the wildlife.  They were in their natural habitat that was invaded.  They were protecting their cubs, like any mother or father would do.  They should not killed, there needs to be other alternatives taken, but they should not be killed.

Please sign this petition to protect the Grizzlies and their cubs.
