On July 6th, 2022 co-worker Simon Ingrand was terminated illegally as retaliation for participating in a sick out as a member of Drafthouse United. This was done the day after the sick out, shortly after they arrived to work. They were then escorted off the property, and threatened with the involvement of law enforcement.

We demand that Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar, and corporate leadership reinstate him. We, the members of the community, protest this decision and agree that no employee should be made an example of for attempting to better their workplace.
