Hi guys! I would like to start this sign petition for SFU students who currently live within Metro Vancouver, are drivers, getting rides to places, and do NOT need bus pass for distance learning semesters. This group of students shouldn’t have to pay $170 for every future online semester, especially during this pandemic. This is something that they are forced to pay in order for another group of students to have a discount price on the compass card. For some of us need those money towards groceries, medical, and other use, and not towards our financial burden. Hopefully this should raise attention to SFU and Translink to start offering an option for students to opt out as long as the pandemic lasts. Therefore, please share to your fellow SFU students or friends as soon as possible. Thank you!
