After having my son, I received a Similac sample of baby formula. I scanned the ingredients and was shocked to see that the #1 and #2 ingredients were corn syrup and sugar.

With the obesity epidemic on the forefront, I find it very alarming that Similac is selling formula that contains high fructose corn solids and sugar as the #1 and #2 ingredients.

This is ridiculous and also very alarming for the health of our nation. A foundation for a healthy diet starts with babies. If we are providing our children with foods that are known to contribute to diabetes, obesity and other health complications, then we ensuring a very compromised health for America.

Please join me in asking Similac/Abbott Nutrition to kindly remove corn syrup, corn syrup solids and sugar from their baby formula/foods.
