EFFLUENT POLLUTION IN SILVERGLEN & KASTURDENE RD (CROFTDENE) RIVER

As a community, we are facing a huge crisis that impacts on our health and the wellbeing of our ecosystems. Raw sewage is flowing unchecked in our local river for many months now. The environmental hazard it poses is going to reach epic proportions if the problem is not duly resolved. 

We need to band together as a community and collectively demand action. It is unacceptable that no resolution is being offered by our local municipality. 
The river is blackened by the effluent that is floating on its surface. It is visually disturbing and the lingering stench is unbearable. The recent hot weather exacerbates the latter.
