Now, the HOA is taking bold steps to revive a piece of L.A. lore: the golden age of male companionship in the city’s late-night watering holes. Citing historical precedent, cultural flair, and a desire to “bring back the charm of 1970s Sunset sleaze,” the board has voted to explore legislative and community-based options to reintroduce regulated adult entertainment—starting with the local bar scene.
