The Indiana Borough Police Department has on at least two occasions posted public manhunts over retail theft, once being a total of 31 dollars at Dollar General Market and once being retail theft committed by two individuals totaling at less than 50 dollars at Sheetz on Philadelphia Street.

Please join me as Indiana Borough residents and ask that we BAN our police department from utilizing our tax dollars to bail out local corporate chains with a public mob when they would never use that same methodology for us as private citizens. 

IUP students- please ask yourself. If you took a picture with a guy at a frat party on 7th street, and he sexually assaulted you, do you think that the borough police would post his face everywhere looking for him?  Is it okay that this use of your tax money only extends to protecting the profits of corporate chains in town?
