Please help join us in support our efforts to keep Bear Valley open, by signing this petition. We are collecting signatures to show the School Board how many people are AGAINST the closure of Bear Valley. Bear Valley Elementary is one of the top performing schools in the district. They have won two national Blue Ribbon awards in the past 10 years, the only school in ASD to do this. At Bear Valley 71% of students are proficient to advanced in Math and 65% proficient to advanced in English Language Arts vs the school districts average of 35% in Math and 35% in Language Arts.

Bear Valley houses BVCA who provides before and after school care to children, a summer camp and a pilot preschool. This closure would not only negatively impact the students and teachers who work and go to the school, it would also negatively impact parents and the local community.

People purchase property in Bear Valley Elementary school limits so their children can go to a top community school. This is a decision that is being made too quickly and the Superintendent and Administrators are not being transparent with this process. Please sign to help show your support!
