The last 18-24 months have been a wild ride of emotions as a few close friends and I have deeply explored if our dream for fans to become owners in the Major League Baseball franchise that will be coming to Portland one day could ever actually happen.

Earlier this month, after a string of positive experiences and growing public energy, we decided to take the leap and officially go on record to say we want to work to make it happen. We have formed a LLC to harness the energy and money it's going to take to have any real shot at this pulling off.

There is still a long way to go, and we are definitely looking at a steep uphill climb to make it happen. But here's what we know:

1) Big dreams are worth fighting for, 2) the group at Portland Diamond Project is the absolute perfect team to work to get MLB to PDX, and 3) the People's Diamond Project is going to do everything in our power to find a way to let fans become owners in MLB PDX.

Thanks to all of you who have given us the love and support to make it this far. We're going to need that x100 in the months ahead. Thanks in advance for continuing to feed that love our way. Let's do this.
