Timeline for the the environmental impact statement (EIS):
Issue Draft EIS
Tentative issuance Spring 2018
Draft EIS Public Comment Period
A 30-day comment period will follow the issuance of the Draft EIS and will include a public hearing
Prepare Final EIS
The Final EIS will address comments received during the comment period
Issue Final EIS
Tentative issuance Summer 2018 (maybe Fall?)
City Action
The City Council will vote on proposed legislation to amend the Land Use Code
Recently MOAR has been connecting to various people at City Hall to learn what is going on about the ADU EIS, cottage legislation and how to think beyond cottages. We will have updates at our events in June.

We have diverse backgrounds, experiences and housing situations, but we’re all Seattleites who want our city to allow more options for accessory residences.
