Founded in 2005 by the sculptor Luc Bihan, Lucsculpure School & Studio has been serving the East York community allowing families, schools, and artists to access a welcoming and artistic space in Toronto.

For twelve years, the community has been able to count on this unique bi-lingual (French & English) community resource. Today, this organization needs its support to find an alternative option to continue its services.

LucSculpture offers art and related workshops for adults and children of all ages and abilities. It is affiliated with the Toronto District School Board and hosts school field trips throughout the year. Many schools (French, English, and  French immersion) in the Greater Toronto Area have come to enjoy traditional art activities that schools typically cannot offer, in both 2D and 3D media. LucSculpture also offers after-school programs for children and teenagers, camps during school holidays, workshops for home-schooled children, birthday parties, art therapy sessions, and more.

Families, Artists, French community, and Schools from East York are called upon to save this artistic space by signing a petition and so they can submit this to the municipal authorities and school boards by the end of July 2018. Objective is 3,000 signatures.

Lucsculpure is also making a call to real estate brokers and to the owners of commercial buildings who can lease an affordable space for the studio.
