The Issue
💔 No One Should Have to Wait for Help
Two years.
That’s how long it took to get answers about my missing dog, Louie. Two years of not knowing, searching, hoping & living with a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
And the hardest truth?
The first 24 hours could have changed everything!!
This isn’t just about Louie.
This is about every missing child, every vulnerable elderly person & every beloved pet who doesn’t get the urgency they deserve.
🚨 Time Matters More Than Anything!
When someone goes missing, every second counts. The first 24–48 hours are the most critical
Over 365,000 children were reported missing in the U.S. in a single year
Elderly individuals—especially those with dementia—are at extreme risk
Missing pets are often dismissed, even though they are family
Yet too often, cases are delayed, minimized, or not treated with immediate action.
🐾 Pets Are Family Too
When a dog like Louie goes missing, it’s not “just a pet.”
It’s:
A companion
A source of unconditional love
A member of the family & they deserve real search efforts, urgency & resources—just like humans do.
✨ What We’re Fighting For We are calling for a nationwide urgent response policy for:
👶 Children under 12
👵 Elderly individuals over 80
🐶 Missing pets
Including: Immediate alerts (AMBER Alerts & expanded Silver Alerts) A new alert system for missing pets
Faster law enforcement response protocols Community search coordination
Use of technology (GPS, drones, tracking systems)
Training for rapid-response teams
❤️ Why This Matters
No family should sit in silence… waiting… wondering if more could have been done. No one should feel like their loved one—human or animal—wasn’t important enough to act fast.
Because the truth is: Delays cost lives:
🙏 Be Part of the Change If you’ve ever loved a child, a parent, or a pet… you understand.
