Right now, we have the opportunity to help 50 million Africans get access to electricity for the very first time. The Electrify Africa Act outlines how we can do it, but first, the bill must be passed by Congress. 

Think about what happens when this bill is passed by Congress and signed by the President: millions of African citizens get electricity. Life-saving medicines get refrigerated. Hospitals have light. Kids don't have to walk  at night to study under the lights. Moms don't have to give birth in the dark. This is a life-changing opportunity.
