In the wake of the thwarted attack planned for April 21, 2025, we insist upon improved communication between parents, school administration, and local law enforcement. It is our right to know that our children are safe and not unknowingly co-existing with potential criminal associates. While we understand the need for confidentiality and personal privacy, we believe that parents should be abreast of important safety updates without identifying minors involved. Our concerns lie specifically in knowing whether any minors linked to the said crime have been taken into custody, are they still being sought, and the general aftermath of the incident. We also propose that, for the safety of our children, school remains closed on April 21, ensuring all necessary security measures are effectively established. We call for transparency and improved communication to bolster trust and reliability among all respective parties, for the well-being of our students and the assurances of their families.
