Having had the personal experience of running for Mayor of Glasgow, I have become incredibly frustrated with the entrenchment of career politicians in our city. It's time for us to take a stand and demand change. Our current system allows individuals to remain in office for extended periods, leading to stagnation and a lack of fresh ideas. This is why I am advocating for the implementation of term limits in Glasgow, Kentucky. This change will ensure that our local government remains vibrant, accountable, and truly representative of its citizens.

Our proposal is simple yet impactful: To establish clear term limits for all elected officials in Glasgow, enabling a rotation of new, passionate individuals who can bring innovations and improvements to our beloved city. Term limits will prevent politicians from holding office indefinitely, thus reducing the risk of complacency and corruption. We aim to foster a more dynamic political landscape where fresh perspectives and diverse voices are regularly introduced.

The immediate goal is to collect 20 percent of the last presidential election  signatures to move this initiative forward to our city council for a vote. If the council votes against it, we have the power to ensure it appears on the ballot for the public to decide. This is a crucial step towards empowering the citizens of Glasgow to have a direct say in how their local government operates.
