Sodastream dares IOC to include Cannonball and Bellyflop dives in Rio 2016 Olympics
The Issue
The Olympics needs more bubbles. Championship divers execute astounding feats of athleticism, but they just don’t make enough bubbles. We want to change that.
SodaStream USA, the Official Sponsor of Bubbles, wants your help to bring the bubbliest dives to the Rio Olympic Games in 2016 events. We here-within petition the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to include two new diving events in this year’s Games: The Belly Flop and The Cannon Ball. Signing our petition enters you to win a SodaStream Rio Bubble Bundle. Details below.
“Diving in the Summer Games is super hard. Some of those divers have been training for years. They use these really high diving boards, and yet they make as few bubbles as possible!” marveled an astonished Emma Froelich-Shea, VP of Marketing for SodaStream USA. “At SodaStream, we try to put as many bubbles in the water as we can, and we make bubbles easy for everyone. Why shouldn’t Olympic diving be as easy as turning plain water into sparkling water with SodaStream?”
This petition is meant to convince the IOC to consider what Sodastream calls “the reasonable and honorable act” of adding the long-missing Cannonball and Bellyflop to Rio. Sign our petition today and start practicing for your chance to be part of team USA!
By signing the petition and opting-in to receive future emails from us, you could be one of five (5) lucky winners of SodaStream’s “Bubbles for Rio” sweepstakes to win a SodaStream Rio Bubble Bundle or the GRAND PRIZE Winner of $2016. The SodaStream Rio Bubble Bundle consists of a SodaStream Source Sparkling Water Maker and Sparkling Drink Mixes in Orange Mango and Berry Mix flavors and has a retail value of $112.99. You can earn up to two (2) extra entries by posting on SodaStream’s Facebook page a photo or video of yourself doing a Cannonball or Bellyflop!
