SIGN OUR PETITION! - Support a Cannabis Program in Vacaville
The Issue
RESIDENTS HAVE THE RIGHT TO ACCESS MEDICAL & RECREATIONAL CANNABIS IN THEIR OWN CITY!
The City Council of Vacaville is voting again to deploy a Cannabis Program within the city. The vote is happening this weekend (Jan 16-17), this will allow Vacaville to allow cannabis businesses to open up within the city and provide services to our residents.
I'm a community advocate who's worked with the City of Vacaville for years to develop and launch the city's Cannabis Business Program. In preparation, I've spent countless hours gathering research data and city reports, met with dozens of city and state officials, and identified trends in the data to inform the city's decision. But, I still NEED YOUR HELP to get the council to finally agree to pass this.
PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION to show your support for all Vacaville residents, including veterans, patients, everyday folks and those who use it for chronic conditions and illnesses.
We need a 4/7 vote to pass:
- YES VOTE - the council agrees to move forward in deploying a Cannabis Program
- NAY VOTE - the council disagrees to move forward and holds off for additional years

WHERE/WHEN:
- Three Oaks Community Center (1100 Alamo Drive)
- Friday, January 16 | 5:00 – 9:00 PM
- Saturday, January 17 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
POINTS WE'RE MAKING:
- Residents who use cannabis for chronic conditions have a right to access medical & recreational cannabis within 10 miles of their home
- Vacaville already voted to allow cannabis businesses by a majority (65%) back in 2020 and still no progress
- There's no trend that regulated cannabis businesses cause increases in youth use or crime in the community
- The City of Vacaville can earn $1.4M in tax revenue and more. This revenue can be used to fund a variety of other youth and city programs
