The use of generative A.I. for things such as, but not limited to; posters, flyers, promotional material, and lesson planning at Lowell High has grown exponentially this school year, we know you’ve noticed it too. There is irrefutable evidence that generative A.I. harms our environment, lowers already decreasing literacy rates, and steals the creative process of making something you can be proud of away from students. If we as a school truly value the arts and the future of our students then we will work towards a future where generative A.I. isn’t relied on for anything a human can create with more success than a robot.
