With less than a week of notice we were able to mobilize an effort of our members and supporters from Oakland, San Jose, Sacramento and Marin. Like in the Assembly, our bill was double referred which means it needs to be heard by a second policy committee. On Monday, June 27 1pm in Capitol Room 3191, our bill will be heard by the Senate Business, Professions and Economic Development Committee.
