Dear Sharrom,
Thank you for the email and for bringing your concerns to my attention.
I am sorry for your experience with the Rexton. I have highlighted this matter to the leadership of the customer care function within M&M's auto division and am sure they will look into the matter and get back to you with some suggestions at the earliest, if they haven't already. I am also marking my executive assistant, Shantanu, so that he can follow up.
I am hopeful the team will be able to address your concerns and the Mahindra Group will continue to enjoy your patronage going forward.
Warm regards,
Anand G Mahindra

Importance: High
Dear Mr Ashwani
Acknowledge your email however do not appreciate your response and your attitude.
I feel you have taken my patience, courtesy and respect as a weakness.
I am left wondering as a company does Mahindra have an integrity and safety Policy.
a) In the first place it was your duty to call for the car back immediately when you were aware of a defect in a brand new car.
b) You inconvenienced a customer by repairing a brand new car a no. of times and neither provided a replacement for the no. of days the car was with you.
c) Were you as a company being responsible personally and as a social corporate responsibility by putting defective cars on the street and jeopardising human lives?
d) After the 1000kms were over; was it not your duty and responsibility to keep your word and call the customer for a feedback and follow up and then replace the car as the problem still existed.
I could go on with the list as you have not only provided a defective car but also deficiency in service and disregarded safety of customers and families.
You will agree I have a right not only to a new car as well as a legal right to compensation for a no. of things some of them being delaying replacement, deficiency in service, mental harassment with the trails of emails sent and keeping track of the repairs; disregard to customers feedback and safety to mention some of them
I am sure you will further approve no one buys cars for the above reasons.
It was in my favour to immediately ask for the above rights and compensations As has been my learnings of life: mistakes happen and let us mutually work towards rectifying them.
You will agree I have complied with that too.
Mutual respect; customer satisfaction; feedbacks and follow ups are core competencies in the corporate world which as a customer I have delivered; being a part of the same world as you.
I would now like to complete this matter immediately with clarity and transparency
I am proud as a customer myself and my family have cherished your opinion and judgement I am sure Mahindra an esteemed organisation values the safety of its customer and their families.
Kindly make immediate arrangement for replacement and confirm the delivery.
Having to travel overseas I expect and respect an immediate intervention in this matter to protect my family.
1) Replace my car with a new one and recall the car or
2) Return my money with interest and compensation for the above + delayed services
Re informing all at Mahindra the problems faced by us:
Our Ssangyong Rexton car with Registration No MH-02 -CV-2260 bought on 21st of November 2012 has unfortunately turned out to be a defective piece.
In the very first few drive my car met with an accident on the side
The whole year of 2012 -2013 we have been cooperating with Mahindra’s and are now exasperated.
During this one year we have sent the car, to the service station at least 4 times with recurring complaints.
1.Car pulling to a side - an alignment issue.
Despite being attended to in January, March, June and Nov the problem persists.
2. In November Mr Sudhir, Works Manager got the wheels realigned and informed the tyres have worn out.
3. On braking there is a sound which was reported and attended to in Jan, March, June, Nov. It still persists.
4. The car has been giving us 6Km/lt and often 5km/ lt while we are to get 10km/lt. The car was checked for this a number of times.
We are now being told the EGR system is not working as its modulator is defective.
Trust you would appreciate that we are asking for a replacement only after having gone through these persistent complaints for over a year.
Mahindra's is a reputed company and we obviously bought and paid for excellence in product and service, but what we received was faulty car and care a damn attitude towards a customer's emails by none other than Mr. Mahindra.
Regards
Sharrom Yezdegardi
