The developers of picoin have stated that the product will be out in the open by the end of 2021. Currently, picoin is in the beta phase where users can mine it at a base rate of 0.10 pi/hr. This rate can be increased by adding more people to the ‘security circle’ on your account.

As of writing this, there are around 21 Million miners of the currency worldwide. This large number of users warrant it as one of the largest publicly used cryptocurrencies.
