Shutdown in person
The Issue
Fellow Frisco residents, over the past couple of weeks an abundance of Covid cases have hit FISD. The last straw came in the form of a staff member of Centennial High School passing away due to Covid. The school notified parents but conveniently left out the cause of death. I personally would switch to online but much like other students, am in fear of losing my schedule. I also believe it is unfair that our instructors that we think so fondly of had no say in whether they taught online or inperson. To not consider whether an instructor is comfortable in an environment is inhumane and detrimental to our educational community. Now I pose a question to Frisco ISD: Why is it that 100 MILLION DOLLARS of our school budget was spent towards a football stadium, but not a dime towards COVID-19 testing? Now I call for a closing of in-person classes and ask you to join me. Thank you.
