Dear Friends

Hundreds of signatures already!  Lets keep the momentum going.

An invitation to join us from 10.30am at Lancaster’s Market Square on Saturday 14th to Remember Fukushima and urge the authorities not to let Heysham’s damaged nuclear reactors a stone’s throw from the City of Lancaster be our Fukushima.

We shall meet in Lancaster near the City Museum on the edge of the Market Square at 10.30am. We will light a candle at 11am for a moments silence to remember the continuing nuclear disaster at Fukushima caused by the 2011 tsunami. Fukushima underlines the constant danger that nuclear power presents. Much of Fukushima Prefecture is still too radioactively poisoned for people to be able to return to their homes.

Following Remembering Fukushima we shall hand out leaflets about our Petition urging the closure of Heysham’s radiation damaged nuclear plants.

all best wishes

Marianne
