Shut down the internet

Shut down the internet
The issue
The Internet is one of the biggest Emission releasers in the world.
For many of us, the Internet has become a relentless and intrusive presence in our lives. Social media trolls constantly spread hostility. Streaming services, like Netflix, arbitrarily remove favorite shows and movies. Our children are becoming screen zombies, engrossed in nonsensical trends like the 'Skibidi Toilet.' Even more troubling is the rise of AI, threatening the job security of artists and non-tech workers underserved by the digital revolution.
Australia has taking first steps, Closing the 3G Network in October and Banning Kids under 16 from making social media accounts, That's not enough....
I am personally concerned by the increasing prevalence and dominance of the Internet in our lives. Back in the 70s and 80s, we lived blissful lives without the Internet. Essential services like supermarket tracking and hospital diagnosis worked smoothly too. We even enjoyed the joy of flipping DVDs or leisurely walking into video stores, which are now deemed obsolete due to online retail behemoths like Amazon and Ebay. Amazon and eBay can become a tv shopping network, no need for accounts, just order now pay. the delivery boy with cash later Internet Companies Like Telstra can change their buisness model into Landline Connectivity or Radio Signals
Remembering those simpler times, my call to action is this- let's restore human connection, let's get back our jobs from the AI, let's shut down the Internet. Life can, and did, thrive without the Internet. Those who opt not to use the Internet should not be marginalised or made to feel obsolete. Stand together with us. Sign this petition to ensure we live in a world freed from the web's overbearing clutches, to help save humanity from its digital leash, and to #shutdowntheinternet.
Hospitals, Supermarkets and banks rely on The internet for tracking. They didn't used to, they can again.
Countries can Shut down the Internet, Iran and India do it all the time, so DVDs are still popular there, and there is little to no risk of AI Job takeover
I know this is gonna be hard, we would have to destroy hundreds of undersea cables. But this petition hopes to have the big minds do it for us
