Shut Down Southport's Vets for Pets to Prevent Animal Mismanagement and Cruelty

Shut Down Southport's Vets for Pets to Prevent Animal Mismanagement and Cruelty
The Issue
My heart is heavy as I write this. I have recently suffered the loss of my beloved dog due to the wrong advice from Vets for Pets in Southport. It's a devastation that no pet owner should ever face. As someone who deeply cares for animals, it's heartbreaking to see this kind of malpractice and neglect continue.
There have been numerous stories from distraught pet owners who had similar experiences at this particular establishment. These harmless creatures, who trust us with their lives, are being put at risk due to incompetence and lack of proper professional conduct. We owe them more than this. Our voices need to be heard.
We need to protect our pets from such inhumane treatment. The only acceptable course of action is to shut down Vets for Pets in Southport. This will serve as a lesson to all other veterinary practices that negligence and malpractice are not acceptable, and indeed, have severe consequences. This is not just for my dog, but for all the innocent animals who may face a similar fate.
Please, I implore you to sign this petition and advocate for animal rights. Your signature can save lives and prevent future suffering. Stand up for what is right, and let us fight for those who cannot speak for themselves. It's time to shut down Vets for Pets Southport. Sign this petition today.
We didn’t hear any of these horror stories before hand and as it was an emergency and our usual vet wasn’t open we had to take him there. Two vets independently told us on Wednesday he’d of needed operated on as soon as possible or the chances of him recovering get worse very quickly. This is information we did not get told at vets for pets. We went straight to a referral place on the Wednesday to still get a scan and operation to see if there was a chance of saving him but unfortunately it had been too long. If we would have been told this on the Sunday we would have drove down straight away like we did on Wednesday and bingo would still be with us . She made out that medical management was an option and as the surgery is expensive and we had trust in a supposed vet, we trusted her advice. To later be told by two specialists due to his breed he needed to be seen straight away.
