Hello. Please don’t scroll past this petition. I promise I won’t make this description too long. You may have heard about some Sora AI 2 videos recently, ranging from anime to famous celebrities, and even Family Guy cutaways! When I first saw all this, it seemed pretty cool at first, but the more I looked into it, the more I realized that generative video tools like this could mark the end of true animated content. AI art is damaging enough, but Sora 2 will just make it worse by not only laying off more jobs, but could also potentially decrease artist productivity. 

Drawing is especially essential for creativity, and it can also help improve hand-eye coordination, reduce stress levels, and improve on motor skills, all while reducing screen time. But if drawing means typing out a command for a picture, then thats just a waste of effort. And it’s the same thing with animation.

Enough is enough. As an aspiring artist and animator myself, I will not sit back and watch as the entire industry is overrun by Artificial Intelligence.
