The Issue
Animals are living, breathing beings who feel pain and should never, ever be subjected to inhumane testing and torture. Torturing animals for any reason is absolutely unacceptable in a civilized and humane society. We must rescue and free all innocent animals, beginning with those trapped in Ridglan Farms in Wisconsin. The beagles being held there deserve a chance at a loving life in someone's home, not in the confines of a testing facility.
Animal testing facilities, such as Ridglan Farms, continue to operate across the United States, inflicting untold pain and suffering on countless animals every day. The conditions in these facilities are horrific, with animals often subjected to unethical procedures that result in immense physical and psychological torment. The United States has the power and responsibility to put an end to these cruel practices by shutting down Ridglan Farms and moving towards a future that respects and cherishes all forms of life.
The evidence against animal testing is overwhelming. There are numerous humane and scientifically valid alternatives available that do not involve the use of animals, such as advanced computer modeling, in vitro testing, and human tissue-based methods. Not only are these methods more humane, but they also provide more reliable results that are applicable to humans. Despite these advances, thousands of animals are bred and killed every year in laboratories across the country.
We demand an immediate closure of Ridglan Farms and the release of the beagles into loving homes. Furthermore, we call for the nationwide shutdown of all animal testing facilities and an outright ban on the breeding of animals for experimental purposes. It is time for the United States to take a stand and lead by example in the fight against animal cruelty.
Join us in this fight to end the suffering of countless animals and pave the way for a more compassionate society. Together, we can make a difference and ensure a future where no animal suffers in the name of science. Please sign this petition to demand immediate action.
