This weekend, another adoption event was held. Lyn did not appear on Saturday, but she did show up on Sunday — a reminder that our advocacy is being noticed. But this fight isn’t over.
Here’s what we know:
Lyn doesn’t work with New Jersey shelters — not because there isn’t a need here, but because NJ shelters don’t allow her to cherry-pick animals. That’s why she pulls from overcrowded Georgia shelters, where oversight is looser and selection is more flexible.
But with that freedom comes responsibility — and when animals end up without proper fosters, veterinary care, or safe placements, it’s the animals who suffer.
This isn’t just about Lost Paws. It’s about setting a community-wide standard that we do not accept disorganized, unchecked practices — even when they’re done under the label of "rescue."

Let them know that sending animals into questionable care is not rescue. Demand they prioritize transparency and proper placement.
Please keep sharing the petition. Keep speaking up. And remember — we are not alone in this. Change is possible when we act together.
