The Issue

For years, the Gulf World Marine Park, has been a popular tourist attraction, however, recent reports and first-hand experiences indicate a disturbing reality: the well-being of animals is gravely compromised within their care. Observations have revealed filthy tanks and evident distress amongst the resident animals, raising critical concerns regarding their welfare standards.

A well-functioning, ethical facility would emphasize cleanliness and well-being of its residents as part of the core ethos, but this seems lacking at Gulf World Marine Park. It's important to note that improper tank conditions can lead to a number of health issues for marine animals, including infections and stress-related illnesses.

Neglectful and ill-treatment of captive animals is a breach of the Animal Welfare Act (AWA) set forth by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). It is not only a violation of our moral responsibility toward these creatures but a direct infringement of their necessary rights to a content and healthy existence.

We are urging the appropriate authorities to step in and close down this facility. It's about time we put an end to such unjust practices and ensure that these creatures are rehabilitated into better conditions. Every signature on this petition inches us closer to a better world for these animals. Please, sign the petition and make a stand for marine life wellbeing at Gulf World Marine Park.
