That’s what police found at Family Farms in Davie, Florida—an attraction marketed as family-friendly, now at the center of a horrifying animal cruelty case.

Owner Robert Hoover has been arrested and charged with 16 counts of animal abuse.

According to police, animals were fed only when visitors bought food, had no vet care, and were kept in inadequate conditions.

This wasn’t an accident. It was neglect—on full display for paying customers.

We’re calling on Broward County officials to permanently shut down Family Farms and ban Robert Hoover from owning, keeping, or supervising animals ever again.

If these charges are true, this is more than just a failed business—it’s abuse hidden behind a fence. Hoover should not be allowed to relocate, rebrand, or reopen under any name.

No animal should suffer for profit or entertainment.
