Shut Down Cruel Backyard Breeders & Rescue the Remaining Cats

Shut Down Cruel Backyard Breeders & Rescue the Remaining Cats
The Issue
To: Animal Welfare Board of India, PETA India, Local Authorities
Subject: Urgent Action Required Against an Abusive Cat Breeder in Pune, Maharashtra
Dear Concerned Authorities,
We, the undersigned, demand immediate action against a backyard breeder in Pune who has been subjecting cats to horrific abuse and neglect for profit.
Recently, members of our group rescued several cats from his facility, where they were found in an extremely malnourished and unhygienic state with their fur matted, their bodies covered in their own feces, and showing clear signs of prolonged neglect. Some cats were so severely damaged that they required urgent medical attention.
Despite our efforts, this breeder refused to release two adult cats, intending to continue using them for excessive breeding and keeping them in the same miserable conditions. These innocent animals are still suffering!
What We Demand:
1. Immediate rescue of the remaining cats before they endure further suffering.
2. Legal action against the breeder under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
3. A permanent ban on his breeding activities to prevent further exploitation.
4. Stronger enforcement against backyard breeding to stop such cruelty from happening again.
This is not just about these few cats it’s about stopping a cruel cycle of abuse. We urge you to take immediate action before more innocent animals suffer.
