The GoGo Strip Club in Belleville, ON, Canada has been a source of concern for local residents for some time now. There have been numerous complaints about noise disturbances and inappropriate behavior associated with the club and now our community is shaken to its core with the recent tragic event that occured on the premises. Not only does this establishment disrupt the peace and tranquility of our community, but it also contributes to the objectification and exploitation of women. According to Statistics Canada (2019), areas with adult entertainment establishments often see increased crime rates. This is not what we want for our beloved Belleville. We believe in creating a safe, respectful environment for all residents - an environment that promotes equality and respect for all genders. Therefore, we urge the local authorities to take immediate action to close down Belleville's GoGo Strip Club permanently.
