Jhanel Campbell was physically assaulted by the security at Azule on Wed, June 8, 2022 around 2 a.m. She suffered from wounds on her body, hair loss, contusion to the head, mild concussion, along with other medical impairments. In addition the staff committed fraud on another victim’s bank card making multiple transactions at the club and other places as well. 

After sharing the story on social media and the word got around others also came forth with their unfortunate experiences of being assaulted by the security at Azule. Over 20 people shared similar traumatic memories and were unlawfully arrested as a result. 

Since then there has been a discovery of permit violations such as: serving liquor and food after midnight without permit, collecting “cover fees” while operating as a restaurant, security unlawfully carrying guns and more. 

The owner has been made aware of the incidents at the establishment by previous customers but nothing has been rectified. We ask that you sign this petition to prevent anyone else from experiencing further assault and trauma by the security at Azule. They are a hazard to the Atlanta nightlife community and majority women. They are abusing their power at the cost of others livelihood with no remorse.
