Recent laws that restrict children under 16 from opening a Social Media Account further substantiate our belief in the logical progression towards a nation devoid of the clutches of the World Wide Web.
A significant part of our concern springs from the growing influence of artificial intelligence and its threat to employment. The Australian Bureau of Statistics, for instance, estimates ("The Impact of Digitalisation on Labour Market Outcomes", 2019) that around 3.5 million workers in Australia are at high risk of losing their job in the next decade or two due to automation.
