I am writing this petition to shed light on the alarming practices of Savannah veterinary clinic in Savannah, MO, USA. As a concerned resident of this community, I feel compelled to bring attention to the numerous safety and ethical violations that have occurred within this facility. It is my sincere hope that by signing this petition, we can collectively demand immediate action to shut down this place and prevent further harm.

Personal Story:
My personal experience with this establishment has been nothing short of shocking. On one occasion, I witnessed them using instruments that had clearly been contaminated by flies' excrement. This blatant disregard for hygiene is not only unsanitary but also poses serious health risks to both employees and the animals receiving surgeries. 

Furthermore, their negligence resulted in the tragic death of a puppy due to neglect. It is unacceptable that an establishment entrusted with the care of animals could allow such a tragedy to occur. We must hold them accountable for their actions and ensure no more innocent lives are lost due to their incompetence.

There is a competition for how many euthanasias they take part in. The winner is rewarded with gift certificates. This is horrible on so many levels. 

Safety Protocols:
In addition to these distressing incidents, it has come to my attention that they lack essential safety protocols such as providing employees with x-ray badges. This omission puts their staff at risk of unnecessary radiation exposure which can have long-term health consequences.

Disturbingly, small children are allowed near open abdomens during procedures without any precautions in place. This behavior raises serious concerns about the overall professionalism and competence within this establishment.

Animal Welfare:
The welfare of animals within their care is also compromised by their irresponsible practices. They allow staff to physically abuse the animals in their care. The clinic cats roam freely throughout the facility, including the surgery suite, without proper supervision or containment measures in place. As a result, one of these cats was viciously attacked by a dog on-site and had its jaw wired shut as a consequence.

Moreover, there have been reports indicating a lack of monitoring during surgical procedures. This negligence places the lives of innocent animals at risk and is completely unacceptable. Animals undergoing surgery deserve proper attention and care to ensure their safety and well-being.

Conclusion:
These are just a few examples of the numerous concerns surrounding this establishment's practices. It is imperative that we take immediate action to protect our community from further harm. By signing this petition, we can send a strong message demanding the closure of this facility and the implementation of strict regulations to prevent any future occurrences.
