ALEKS. We all hate it. 2-3 hours spent per week on pointless information that serves no future purpose in life topped on top of piles of other homework. When will I ever need to know how to inscribe a square in a circle? Anything other than ALEKS provides a better learning service, as students are now just paying others to complete their topics. And, those who do their topics stay up much later than is needed to complete pointless problems. It is time someone takes a stand to eliminate the wretched website from our curriculum. Adding ALEKS to the school curriculum has only increased the amount of stress a person is under. Additional work should not be added to increase stress but it should be removed to lessen the amount of pressure that students possess.
