I am suffering from cerebral palsy (locomotor disability) and feel that it is high time now that India should be a disabled friendly country.

A number of people including me face problems in using mobility aids(automatic wheelchairs) because the infrastructure here is not uniform,for example we don't find ramps everywhere.

Likewise the roads and public services are also not ready to be used by differently abled people independently which restricts their mobility.

Even the educational courses need to be redesigned. Just a reservation under the PwD(Persons with Disabilities) quota is not enough. The course structure also needs to be redesigned or modified keeping in mind the needs and restrictions of the differently-abled people

Though the Accessible India Campaign works for this but we need is the modification of all the infrastructure rather than focusing on specific places to be made differently abled friendly. A mass level restructuring is needed.

A move should be made in this direction so that we can achieve equality in real sense.
