Recognition of Tibet as a Sovereign State by Indian Government

The Issue

Tibetan has always been an independent country. India has strong culture and historical links to Tibet, and is a witness to much of the happenings throughout the centuries.

13th HH the Dalai Lama of Tibet declared Tibet as an independent state in 1933. Furthermore, UN resolutions found to be an independent state in three resolution in 1960s.  Currently, 6 million Tibetans suffer human right denial in Tibet.

We request, Shri Narendra Modi, to recognize Tibet as an independent country.  If India recognizes Tibet as such, other countries might follow suit, and create a precedent.
