The illegal practice of chopping full grown trees under the pretext of trimming branches continues unabated in Pimpri Chinchwad.

Citizens are now asking - When will PCMC and Police intervene and start taking legal action as per the Maharashtra (Urban Areas) Protection and Preservation of Trees Act, 1975 which prescribes punishment of jail and fines for such illegal tree cutting.??

Will citizens need to approach the CM,Environment Minister and High Court for justice ?
