To whom it may concern
I am from Save Scifi, and we have one rule, Every story with a beginning should have an end..
This petition is to ask for an ending to the story told in Continuum.
We, the fans, are not greedy, while we would like a new series and the story to go on, we would be happy with a movie. For an example of how this will be financially beneficial to the studio look to Fox's series Firefly. It was cancelled after one season but we given a movie to, kind of, end the story. This allowed the series fan base some closure to the story itself, and made Fox a fair amount in return, with people watching Serenity and then actively buying Firefly to watch the start of the movie. A similar effect can be seen in both Stargate and Star Trek, but to different degrees.
All we ultimately ask for is closure. To many series have been left hanging recently, and we just want an end to this story
A hashtag has been floating around recently, #RenewContinuum. It has united the walls of fans from all over the world. Go to twitter or Facebook and look for it to see what fans are saying
Please, while a series is obviously financially unprofitable, please do a movie. They traditionally are the better way to end a story, and they are a good way to get people in on the story and bring them back to the original series thus making you more money in media sales down the road...
I know its not an easy decision, to make, and unless you have thousands of sales it wont make a profit, but the fan base is there, and they will buy it. Just make it a good story and we will flock to it
