Show Your Support of the "Countering Human Trafficking Act" Bill!
The Issue
Human trafficking is a serious world problem that has grown over the course of the 20th century. Every year, there 80,000 kids, teenagers, women, and men who fall victims to human trafficking. It's a problem that we must quickly address as a country.
The bill proposed by Senator Peter Gary, the Countering Human Trafficking Act, would be a step closer to a solution. The bill would give the Center for Countering Human Trafficking (CCHT) authority to use facilities from the Department of Homeland Security. This would allow both groups to coordinate together to fight against any human trafficking activity. The bill would require a CCHT to develop new technologies and tactics that could be used to fight human trafficking.
By signing this petition, you would show your support to the bill that has been proposed by Senator Peter Gary. You would show your support to human trafficking victims and you would be help bring to justice those who are responsible.
