This petition is deeply personal to me. It is simply to show your support as current threats are low level but, as always, there is potential for the treat level to escalate.

The owner of our local licensed venue has shown a profound passion for community support and has always endeavoured to help others before themselves. This establishment is not just a place for entertainment but also serves as a hub where locals can connect and create lasting memories.

Recently, there have been complaints against this venue that threaten its operation. It's crucial to remember that this venue contributes significantly to our local economy and social fabric. According to data from the British Beer & Pub Association, pubs contribute approximately £23.1 billion to the UK economy annually (source: BBPA). While we don't have exact figures for our town, it's clear that losing such an establishment would be detrimental.

We understand concerns about noise or other disturbances must be addressed; however, as always, such complaint threaten the future of such an institution that plays such a vital role in our community.  The owner is very approachable and will always find a solution to avoid upsetting anyone.  We urge those concerned parties and local authorities alike to work with us towards finding a compromise that allows this beloved venue to continue operating while addressing any valid concerns raised.
